What is Glance?
Glance is an early-access status-sharing app for friends, partners and family. Share availability with chosen people and see their shared statuses on your home screen.
What does the home-screen widget do?
It shows the statuses people have chosen to share with you, for one person or several. Check before calling and tap a person to open their full status in Glance. Refresh timing depends on your device.
Does calendar sync share my private events?
No. Selected Google calendars appear in your private day view. When you explicitly enable Automatic status, contacts see availability, not event titles or guests. Manual statuses take priority.
Can I share a GIF status?
GIF status sharing is planned. The intended feature shares a chosen GIF with text or emoji in Glance; home-screen widgets use a still preview.
What happens when I join early access?
Your email, signup time, form location and agreement to early-access emails are saved in a private Google Sheet once the collector is configured. You see success only after the save is confirmed. Your email is not sent in analytics events.
